Insurance Change

Hi
I was insured for a Vauxhall Astra and decided to buy a Vectra and let the miss's have the Astra.so i rang the insurance company and they quoted me over £1000 pounds for the Vectra so i decided to look elsewhere.the prob is i changed my insurance to another company(cos it was alot cheaper but still have a none fault accident pending.Will my old company deal with that even though i have changed from them to another.
