| well i think overall the new astra wins!
But...
i doesn't win the hearts of everyone. this could have something to do with "we have seen it all before design!" i.e. similar to other manufacture designs such as teh mazda or some people simply don't like!
in my opinion...
the three door looks the part! however the 5 door just doesn't look right. i guess this could be said for the mk4 astra which i currently own.
conclusion....
manufacturers these days are competing so much i'm finding more and more difficult to decide what car to buy! i.e. think back in the old days most cars were distinctively different in one way or another. |

| love the front, back end i hate, very impractical for me personally, (disabled wife so need wide access to put her buggy in)if they had made the boot lid wider would have been an excellent car, but is each to their own

| Love them, and as I've justed posted somewhere else I've had all manner of Astras from Mk1 to Mk4 and never had any bother with them. My only criticism is that basic models look very plain and they need to be the right colour and right spec. I'm definately going to have one in the next 18 months/2 years, probably either a 1.7TD or a 1.8 or 2.0 petrol. |
