At what point is a crazy man no longer considered crazy but deemed a genius?
well i think overall the new astra wins!
But...
i doesn't win the hearts of everyone. this could have something to do with "we have seen it all before design!" i.e. similar to other manufacture designs such as teh mazda or some people simply don't like!
in my opinion...
the three door looks the part! however the 5 door just doesn't look right. i guess this could be said for the mk4 astra which i currently own.
conclusion....
manufacturers these days are competing so much i'm finding more and more difficult to decide what car to buy! i.e. think back in the old days most cars were distinctively different in one way or another.
No kiddin, but the rear quarter window reminds me of Ford Anglia! perhaphs as a result of interbreeding ! on the whole yes its a nice car looks wise
if it wasn't for the earth , there wouldn't be any universe, mother earth gave birth to all the creation! and without the earths gravitational pull, the sun and the moon would have long gone adrift!
love the front, back end i hate, very impractical for me personally, (disabled wife so need wide access to put her buggy in)if they had made the boot lid wider would have been an excellent car, but is each to their own![]()
I smile because I don't know what's going on.
5door and estate are the better ones, dont like the sports hatch TBH
I've fixed this for you. Benn
the new astra is a nice looking car as long as its a 3 door, in black with suttle tinted windows and dropped on some nice rims
Well... I love mine

Love them, and as I've justed posted somewhere else I've had all manner of Astras from Mk1 to Mk4 and never had any bother with them. My only criticism is that basic models look very plain and they need to be the right colour and right spec. I'm definately going to have one in the next 18 months/2 years, probably either a 1.7TD or a 1.8 or 2.0 petrol.
There's only one Andy Morrell, only one Andy Morrell. With a packet of sweets and a cheeky smile, Morell is a f uck ing paedophile.
i like it the vxr lokks nice but the 1.9 cdti astra is lovely to drive and stylish too
