Vauxhall Astra Coupe Turbo Edition 2001 in Mirage Grey Pearlescent.

Engine
Z20LET 2021cc, 16 valve, turbo. Courtenay Sport Stage 4 ECU software upgrade with Astra GSi Turbo base map. Astra VXR Turbo and manifold with Cosworth -34 actuator. Astra VXR injectors, VXR Air flow meter with extended wiring. Wossner forged pistons with Teflon coated skirts, PEC steel rods, APR rod bolts, oil spray bar (under piston cooling), VXR oil pump, balancer shafts removed, SBD main and big end uprated bearings. ERL Aquamist 1s water injection with ERL prototype control system and larger washer fluid tank from Xenon equipped Astra G. Courtenay 9 litre front mounted intercooler with Courtenay silicone hoses. Courtenay turbo to FMIC and FMIC to inlet silicone hoses with Astra Mk5 IC to Inlet solid plastic pipe (housing 0.3mm water injection jet). Regal sports inlet cam. Oversized 80mm Apexi cone filter 2x 50mm air feed pipes and modified induction route straight onto the turbo inlet with 80m Samco silicone hoses (standard crossover pipe removed). Modified breather system plumbed back into turbo inlet and Samco crank case to cam cover fluro lined silicone hose. Full Milltek Exhaust system including VXR branded backbox, Courtenay pre-cat replacement pipe covered with exhaust wrap, Courtenay 200 cell sports cat and Courtenay Sport exhaust manifold heat-shield, Courtenay lightened and balanced flywheel. NGK Iridium spark plugs (0.75mm gap), Innovate Motorsport LC1 wide band lambda controller with Bosch sensor, with black VXR spark plug cover. Powerflex front engine mount. Cool running thermostat with Raceline water wetter. Mobil1 Motorsport 15W50 oil with ZX1 Extralube additive. Cam cover painted in Mirage to match the car colour and fastened with stainless bolts.

Transmission
Standard Getrag F23 cable operated 5-speed gearbox. Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing (ATB) limited slip differential, B&M alloy short shift lever. Helix uprated clutch and Redline MTL synthetic gear fluid.

Suspension
Bilstein front shocks, GAZ adjustable rear shocks. Eibach Prokit springs (about -40mm). Whiteline adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars. Poly front anti-roll bar bushes.

Brakes
308mm grooved front brake disks with standard GM pads. Grooved rear disks with GM pads. Also has ABS and ESP as standard. Callipers painted in blue. Police spec brake ducts mounted to suspension arms.

Wheels & Tyres
BK Racing 999 (VXR replica alloys) 18"x8" ET45 with Toyo Proxy T1R 225-35-18 tyres. Insurance approved locking wheel nuts.

Exterior
Angel Eye projector headlamps. Irmscher grille. Irmscher chrome mirror covers. Astra G GSi Turbo front bumper with integrated brake ducts but fog lamps and lower grille removed to aid cooling. 6000k H7 Xenon HID headlamps. Solar Reflect front windscreen. Moulded mud flaps (shortened for ground clearance). Irmscher rear spoiler. Hydraulic bonnet lifters. MIG stickers. Private plate "M16 VXL" i.e. MIG Vauxhall. Debadged and VX220 "Turbo" badge fitted instead.

Interior
Black leather heated seats. Vauxhall carpet mats, rare electric sunroof. Traction control switch retro-fitted. Irmscher centre console armrest. Boost gauge and Innovate Motorsport wide band lambda gauge hidden in ashtray. Alloy gear knob. Black and grey leather steering wheel. Black dials (in lieu of the standard white ones). Sparco alloy/leather gear knob and alloy handbrake handle. Alloy door lock pins. Irmscher chrome effect fan control rings. VX220 cigar lighter. Cruise control. CD changer removed and glove box replaced with larger standard one. Remote total closure. Stainless steel sill protectors. Centre console trims repainted in Star Silver. Toyota cup holders fitted in place of CD holder. Full trip computer displayed via satnav screen. Corsa sun glasses holder. Irmscher steering wheel badge, grey faux leather steering wheel cover (to protect the real leather).

ICE & Security
Siemens NCDR1100 Satellite Navigation unit (Vauxhall factory fit option) with colour screen. DLS A5 Ultimate 3 channel amp. Phase Evolution Aliante 10Si sub. DLS UR6S 6.5" components. Parrot CK3000 Evolution car kit interfacing with phone input on headunit. Standard steering wheel controls for satnav. Dynamat on doors and rear quarters. Category1 approved alarm and immobiliser.

Figures from before engine rebuild: 292bhp @ 6250rpm and 333lb.ft @ 3700rpm. Standing quarter mile circa 13.7s @ 107mph.
