    Andrew Lumb's 1.2 nova merit

    Car
    Vauxhall Nova 1.2 Merit (Pre-facelift).

    Engine
Standard 1.2 with GTE exhaust system.

    Transmission
    F13 CR with Quaife LSD.

    Suspension
Bilstein Sprintline Kit (-35mm - i think ?!?) and Nova GTE anti-roll bars front and back.

    Brakes
Front brakes: Nova GTE calipers with standard vented discs, and Pagid fast road pads.
    Rear brakes: Standard hubs/shoes/linings etc.

    Wheels & Tyres
Standard 13"x5.5J steelies painted hammerite gold, wearing Colway Road Plus rubber. (or my 15" Astra LS alloys when i take it out for a good run every now and then without the intention of thrashing it!)

    Styling
Custom brackets to mount spot lights on front bumper, all rub strips removed, otherwise standard trim outside.

    Interior
Not pictured, but now has Corbeau Forza Sports up front with 4-point harnesses and a half cage in the back. Rear seats removed, and flourescent white tubes installed in various strategic positions to aid navigation.

    ICE & Security
JVC KDG-401 Head Unit with pioneer 4" speakers in standard dash location.

    Performance
I have no idea what sort of bhp an over-fuelling 1.2 carb'd engine makes, but i can say now its not enough! this is by far the smallest engined car out on most north-east midlands road rallies these days!
However the suspension and tyres helps a lot and it can easily keep with the likes of Pug 205 GTi's etc..

    Future Plans
Actually, as we speak the car is off the road in my garage with new front wings, ground out rear arches, the rear sills about to be ground out, and the back panel where it meets the floor pan behind the bumper ground out, all awaiting some time for replacements (only minor rust, but want the job doing properly!) - respray to follow :) - suggestions on colour welcome!
There is also an E16SE engine sat in the engine bay now, being freshly rebuilt, however it is still awaiting half the fuel system (all the lines etc), some water pipes, and the damn electrics!

The idea is that come the summer months i will have the car back on the road in its 1600 form with a sound shell, ready to re-enter the motorsport scene competitively.

Thanks for reading ;) - see attached pic for a rough idea!
