Ronin's Astra GTE 16v Turbo Champion Edition

History
Purchased the summer of 2003, having previously owned a 1986 Astra 1.3L and a 1990 GTE 8v. Bought in compete original factory condition, and near on immaculate, except for a small patch of rust bubbling though on the nearside wing. I couldn’t resist a few minor changes to the bog-standard setup, and had it lowered and sitting on larger wheels within a month. I vowed to leave it at that, but due to some unfortunate incidents in 2004 (not my fault), things have changed…

- C20LET with Coscast head (from a late Calibra - aprox 85k)

- Getrag F28 6 speed gearbox converted to 2wd
- Quaife ATB limited slip differential

- PI up-rated springs and gas shocks, lowered approximately 35mm
