Thumbs up New Optional MIGWeb Themes (Red, Grey)

The new look for MIGWeb seems to have gone down well, and today I have added a red option. You can select this from your UserCP of from the drop down menu at the bottom of the page.

I'll be adding a few other colour options in the near future.

Edit - Grey style also added.

Do you have any florescent yellow/green/pink colour schemes, with blinking graphics, comic sans font and maybe a strobing border? I don't think red or blue is lurid enough.

OMFG! I completely forgot about MIGrosoft. lol. For those that didn't see it, it basically made MIGWeb look like the Microsoft website.

Re: New Optional MIGWeb Themes (Red, Grey)

IS there a feed-back thread on issues?

Just that it seems taht only 10 pages are the max now shown when you hit 'New Posts' (it was 20 wasn't it?).

And hasn't the icon that shows you've replied/subscribed to a thread disspeared too (or am I being daft??).

Yeah - thats been bugging me as well.

I can only see the last 200 or so threads (10 pages) which means I miss some of the older posts when I can't get on for a day or so.

Also miss the subscribed ticks - I tended to use those a lot so I didn't miss threads I was subscribed to when flicking through the new posts.

Re: New Optional MIGWeb Themes (Red, Grey)

I removed the subscriptions tick as this does cause a load issue on the server. You should be able to keep track of your subscriptions in the user cp - I have my user cp as my home page so I can see what is new straght away. You can still see the dots on the icons on the right which show if you have participated in a thread.

I've increased the search results back to 500.

Re: New Optional MIGWeb Themes (Red, Grey)

Mike - can you not edit the icon for the ones with the dots on an maybe add a green tick or something to it ? That would make it much more obvious that you were subscribed to that thread.

Dom - I was thinking that myself. I'll try and do something to make it a bit clearer.

using the Grey one here, diagonal lines on the post headers are less trippy.

Re: New Optional MIGWeb Themes (Red, Grey)

I recon we need something more easy on the eye, suttle colours and take the hatcehd lines off, round the corners on the boxes to make it more aerodynamic and so the pages can scroll faster with less plasma resitance, that would look real altra moderen as well. eg. if you see the boxes with rounded corners which says Quote, Q-Reply etc and so the main box you type in can have similar looks without overpowering or overcontrasting borders. plain and simpler aborevrelaxed tothe eye.

at the moment it looks very cluttered and hatched lines add all that clutter.

However, I will go for what the majority likes.

I will try and give an examole when i have found it how it should look. perhaps a screen shot of another forum or other wb page when I find it.
