Re: A Few Minor Site Changes

just seen something over on another forum that i thought id mention, where the user name is shown on the left of the screen some of the users have quotes such as "user under investigation do not trade" in red so it catches your eye, this could be good as not everyone always thinks of checking the sellers itrader info.

Re: A Few Minor Site Changes

I think maybe a seller dispute subforum like they have on VXON would be beneficial.

Name and shame and keep it public.

Re: A Few Minor Site Changes

Yup - agreed although the ability for the search engines to catch bad sellers names, addresses and phone numbers etc could prompt other people who have had problems on other forums giving input on the bad sellers.

Bit 50/50 on that one though.

All wanted ads can be seen by users meeting this criteria.

Many more changes coming very soon.
Minor problem there is that if a new user account cannot view the wanted section (assume it is hidden from them as the members section is from non members?) then they can simply log out, view the threads then login and PM the individuals in question.

Log out and you will see what I mean because you can still view the wanted section without having an account.

good point. Shouldnt be to hard to hide it from guests like we do with off-topic already which should resolve it.

Re: A Few Minor Site Changes

Yeah, if it is done in the same way it would automatically stop people who are gagged from being able to view that section too, win - win scenario.

Re: A Few Minor Site Changes

Could you not add a 'stolen' section??

would save scrolling down the page to miss the 15 threads of stolen cars.

I personally think each section has 2many stickys
