    Hey Neil

We sorted the fuel problem out, we thought of going back to basics and because we were looking into it too deeply and found a blockage in the tank caused by fluff from a cloth would you believe it, anyway the car is running really well now and were looking at doing our first event early next year hopefully.

    Just a few questions matey.

We want to fit a corsa c epas column that weve picked up, i know you fitted the corsa b column, is there a massive difference, the fuse box has been moved the other side so no interference there but will we have problems with the column mount etc?

Whats springs do you run on the rear for tarmac, we have wide bilstein coilovers on the front with wide platform tarmac springs and bilstein dampers on the rear but not sure what pound spring to go for.

    Cheers

Hi Chris, Glad to hear the build is still going strong. if you want to send me a pic send it too neilyt@hotmail.com . i would suggest disconnect the fuel inlet pipe to the crbs and switch the fuel pumps on, catch the fuel in a jerry can or similar, this will simulate full flow as if you were flat outif the flow slows down after a while try taking the fuel cap off. It may be that your fuel filler breather is blocked and the petrol tank is sucking in and creating a vacum. only other thing i can think of is fuel pressure, i always set my filter king to about 4 psi do you have any way of checking for this? hope you get it sorted mate.

Hi Neil, hope all is well, you may not remember me but we spoke quite a while ago... Im building a rally corsa and you gave me advise on a few things and i think i bought your OMEX ECU. Anyway the build is still going on, yes its been about three and half years now well its pretty much completely finished and ready for its MOT and log booking but were having a few problems. Its been on the rolling road and had a few rally minded mechanics look at it but were having issues with what we think could be fuel related.

The engine is standard apart from running twin 45 weber on OMEX with external red top pump and filterking with regulator but when its driven hard its cut out like its starved (run out) of fuel and the pump whirrs away like its just sucking air. I can send you a pic of the engine bay so you can see where we have things positioned but were a bit stumped at the moment.

    Cheers

    Chris
