Talking ###Cavalier, astra and calibra indiglo dials (New thread)###

Indiglo style Cavalier, Calibra and Mk3 Astra dials for sale at £65 (Plus £5 for nextday insured p&p) a set (Come with both 7k and 8k rev counters)

They look like normal white dials during the day but when the lights are turned on the whole face lights up.

There is a 2 way switch to fade between green and blue and to dim them down if need be.

The speedo is 10-140 mph and comes with both 7k and 8k rev counters so covers 99% of cavaliers, calibra's and Mk3 astra's (Non turbo and V6).

Here's a short clip of the dials (Big file but not that good quality)

    CHANGING COLOUR

    DIMMING CLIP

    Here are mine all fitted.

You would need to get 10 orders off the same before they will make them.

You will be surprised just how quick they will sell once they are made,
If you can get 5 deffinate orders then I maybe able to put up the money for the other 5 stes but they will be at the higher price off £90 a set due to them not being made by mass production but hand made.

I am interested in a set for my mk3 Astra (10-140mph/7k RPM).

I don't know much about your Indiglo dials so my apologies for sounding dim, but how do you make them light up like that?

Are you supplying like the whole clock set with housing etc. or what it is that makes them light up like that?

    Thanks.

You get the dials like white lockwoods. They have a connector on each dial that plugs in to a supplied loom. The loom as the converter on it,which simply has 2 wires to connect to the car 1 earth 1 lights live wire.

Anyone thinking of buying a set of these should definately invest the cash. I bought my set off Lee, and fitted them at the weekend into my Astra GSi, and they are 100% excellent.

I had electroluminescent dials in my escort cossies, and these are equally as good - if not better, as you can change colour with these babies!

When you think you can pay around £40 for a set of lockwoods which look good in the day, and cr*p at night, then a bit extra gets you a set of dials which not only look good in the day, but even better at night!

Buy them - you won't be dissapointed!

    Cheers,

    Dave

    Nope sorry dave

Its £65 plus £5 insured p&p (Next day)

I have another 10 sets I am selling.

They fit like white dials (No need to remove needle rests or needles) they just slip over the top and have a live (Lights on wire) and an earth.
    Thats it.

Takes about 45 min too fit.

    Agreed.

I have a set now and they took about 45 minutes to fit - and that included time to clean and fit perfectly. Once fitted they look better than Lockwood dials during the day. I wanted white dials for ages but I don't like Lockwoods as they can be tatty and they have "Lockwood" written on them. These new dials have no advertising - they even have no claibration number. They are very tidy!

At night it's another story. These things are seriously impressive. Very clear to read and look way cool. They even dim using the standard dimmer switch.

    Buy some now!
