aint no replacement for displacement
needs pulling apart really as said not a mint box. could risk using it as your pm but why fit a noisy box?
Any idea what is involved in replacing the main bearing? Do you need a mega press? I know nothing about the internals of gearboxes but I have an F28 with a lunched 4th gear syncro I need to sort out, perhaps I could make one good box from the two?
