i have been waiting on a rose jointed bottom arm since march!! i have been in touch with him a few times via text and he promises to sort it out when he gets back off the boat but never does. i am very close to getting a third party involved. I have kept all correspondance with him and have an address and landline number aswell as mobile but i believe he has since moved house.

if i can help at all give me a shout.

No unfortunately he no longer answers any calls or text, the phone still rings but he never answers or returns any messages. i did have a landline number for him but he moved house so it no longer works.

thats an unbelievable post from a site administrator.

are you effectively saying youd like to close down the For Sale section because you cannot administrate it properly and are just saying expect to go to court/police if you use this site to buy parts?

im shocked.

its impressive when site staff like Paul are effectively doing something about it.

It clearly states in the rules we are in no way responsible for bad sellers. Paul has helped out way more than he ought to have done.
This matter with this particular user has been going on way to long and clearly needs police action.

We have no intention of closing down the for sale area but we do advise users to be cautious when using it.

We are very limited to what we can do to bad sellers short of gagging / banning them, however if users were to bring police action in then maybe things will get done.

Very little MIG can do. Main aim of these threads is really to spread the work and hope the user returns and makes the situation good.

I agree that Police action is a good idea. Indeed, we suggest going to the Police in the rules.

yes i did and although they were as helpful as they could be they were unsure about where i stood, they also said the current information i had regarding his contact details which now amount to a user name on a website and a land line and mobile number both of which appear unused, are a bad starting point. i got a referance number and had a conversation that didn't fill me with confidence that anything would be done about it.
Small claims would be the other port of call but it costs to register a claim and again you would need a full name/address etc of the party you were claiming from.

Again i'm not wanting to cause anyone on here any hardship and good on you paul for starting this thread, my only hope was that someone else who had dealt with this guy had a full name, contact address and up to date phone number for him.

I've also payed him for a C20LET ECU,he had on this forum a HD C20LET ECU for sale and I have payed for him and also the shipping to Romania,after I have payed him 2 weeks I had asked him if he has sent the ECU to me,in this time he was told me that he was very busy and he haven't time for it but he promised me that he will send it.After 1 week or something like that he was told me that the ECU has been sent to me,I have waited 1 month I guess and I haven't recived anything,after a lots of pm's he was told me that the ECU was returned to him,I don't know why,and he promised me that he will resend it by a courier this time for a quick shipping,since then he never asnwered to my prive messages and after a time I have opened an dispute on paypal for refund my money,I have explained there what was the problem and he answered me that I'm a jourke or something like this(I can't remeber the words exactely) because he sustaines that I had recived the ECU and after that I want to get also my money back,thing wich is not true at all.This things can be verifyed that I haven't recived anithyng from him...Also I'm curious to see if he has a paper or something from the post office or courier like he say that he was sended me the ECU.

Now I don't know if this things can ve resolved,honestley I don't think so,but I wanted to tell you my bad experience with him.

No,they didn't because when I have sent the money I have sent them as gift as AstraC20LET sayd and in this way the paypal offers you only the oportuninty to talk with the seller if there are any problems and resolve the problem by comunicating with the seller.

If there are needed some other details about transaction number or the amount or anything tell me and I will post them
