For sale as no longer needed.
Comnplete F28 6speed conversion to fit a Vectra B.
Gearbox is nice and clean condition, came out of a friends Astra mk3 turbo and had no noises/crunching ect. converted to 2wd (with modified GM plate) and has mechanical speedo drive (if you ever wanted to use it)
Modified front gearbox mount (welded and stengthened a bit)
F18 rear gearbox mount
V6 front engine mount with 23mm spacers
3 main engine mounts/mounting rubbers, modified so much stiffer than originals but still have some give in them (torque rod not essential with these mounts)
Equal length drive shaft setup with 23mm spacer on the intermediate shaft/bearing
Custom linkage comprising of custom bracket, and parts of f18/f28 linkages (works perfect)
Gear selector housings/rod/short stick (inside car) (not in pics)
Brand new F18 Slave cylinder
LUK C20LET Clutch (i purchased new and has aprox 10k on it from when it was in my astra)
Fidanza 3.5kg ALLOY flywheel
Gearbox has genuine oil in, has been topped up with 1.2ltr and then was going to drop it to flush it out (box not used for a while sat in my garage) and also includes the correct 1.8ltrs of genuine GM F28 gearbox oil
I had this whole setup fitted to my 1999 Vectra b v6. It felt perfect but i didnt get the car on the road in the end and decided to break it
This setup spaces the engine itself 23mm to the centre of the car, better weight distribution so better handling, you also get much more room at the cambelt area so a cambelt change is a breeze. can get a little tight at battery end (if you have a huge battery) but it does go fine.
Has cost quite a lot to get this kit together, along with a Good F28 and the Fidanza flywheel and clutch it will no doubt be a perfect setup for someones vectra b.
Will take £500 on the whoel lot, thats everything needed to fit to a vectra v6 or 2ltr ect.
Could also bea perfext setup for a astra mk4 or any other vauxhall running a hydraulic clutch and a XE/LET/V6
£500 collected from Plymouth devon..
