Pictures of block and exact spec please, Mileage? Also any damage at all to the pistons?

engine has just been built 2 weeks ago, covered arond 250miles. Brand new JE 87mm pistons, Steelrods unsure of make supplied by jav786, ARP bolts all round (flywheel, Main, head, big end.) Glyco .25 main and std glyco bigend. Balanced crank, bottom pulley etc. Custom made woodruff key in bottom pulley (had one snap before). New z20let oil pump covered 250miles. No damage to pistons or block just the head and gasket were damaged. Timingbelt and rollers (all GM) was just fitted all are included.

only pics i have to hand at the minuite. the Silicon included is all 4ply made by a local company, tested myself to 5 bar. theres its all 2.5" witsh a 2.5 to 3" and a 2.5 to 2" 90 for the turbo. have a drive over and take a look if ou want. i had fitted on the mk 4 and my belmont. black paint can be stripped off if you want

i think it was gasket failure, you can see in the pics where it put holes in the gasket and the gasses juts cut throug the head. i was on full boost and the coolant pipe popped off. let the engine idle for 30 seconds and turned off while rolling to a safe place to stop. at first didnt think there was any damage to he head unil stripping it down. just thaught gaket failure as it was the second use from a cometic. **** happens

hellaw m8 would you split the exhaust cam? also lookin for screw in turbo return feed and loads of bolts for sump and oil pump etc, cheers neil

Can the Helix be used to replace a standard clutch plate?
I have a Courtenay "fast road" kit, which is just a regular clutch with uprated pressure plate. The Clutch is looking a bit sorry now as its seen a good few track and drag days, but the pressure plate is fine.

Jonsey, will split the cams if you want but don't have any of the other parts.
Cmac clutch will be fine used like that.

I also have a LET in my mk4 astra. If i bought that turbo and put it on, would i need upgraded management and intercooler etc? on a frontera intercooler atm and phase 3 eds. bottom end is standard but has had a re con. coscast head, f28 etc etc

fuel pump is external sorry, manidold will be sold with turbo as part of a package unless others are willing to buy other items sorry
