Possibly breaking Astra Mk3 GSi C20LET

I must stress from the outset I am not breaking this car, right this second. I am seeing if there is enough interest in enough of the parts for me to get the money in I need to then fund my new project.

If I sell enough bits, then I will sell all of it. Anyone desperate enough to reserve parts, I will take a £5 deposit from them via pay-pal in the event that I break the car. If I don’t, the deposits will be refunded. Ive also listed on Mk3OC so the way this will work is that I will look at who contacts me first, and give them the first refusal. Then the second and so on until someone pays a deposit.

Large items can be delivered by me in the works van for a price depending on distance. Probably something like 50p a mile….. haven’t really thought this through that much at this stage.

Im listing here to start off with the “big” bits as it were. If enough of it sells I will get round to the smaller stuff in time, ive put some pics up at the bottom of the page...

So, if you have any questions or queries you can ring me (01376 583030 Work number 9-5) or mail me sales@performanceenginecomponents.com or PM me on here.

Astra GSi Mk3 – Calibra turbo C20LET engine installed.

Engine - Freshly rebuilt C20LET engine. Was rebuilt 2 years ago but has covered only about 10 miles max while testing. Is fitted with : Wossner low comp forged pistons, PEC Steel H Beam con rods, ARP head studs, ARP main studs, New oil pump internals, balanced crank shaft, XE inlet cam with a pair of SBD vernier pulleys, Cos cast cylinder head was refurbed at the time of build with new stem seals, brand new followers etc etc etc. This engine also had a brand new 16V sump from Vauxhall, and an 8v sump gasket. It doesn’t knock or smoke, there will be a slight rattle from the top because it has been stationary for a while on brand new followers but that will pass almost straight away. Can be heard running if need be in the car prior to removal. £1700

Transmission – 90,000 mile F28 gear box. Converted to FWD. This price also includes the drive shafts you need for a FWD LET Astra. I also have a Focus RS “Gripper” type diff kit for it that I never got round to fitting, a Helix multi late clutch ideal for massive torque and a TTV Steel one piece fly wheel.
£400 for gear box and shafts.
£250 for the Diff gripper kit (can be installed in gear box if required)
    £100 for the TTV flywheel
    £250 for the Helix clutch
    £900 for everything

ECU – Adaptronic ECU system. There are a lot of features here that are to many to list, if any one is serious then come down to me and I can demonstrate them. The loom has been extended so that the ECU is mounted in the glove box for ease of access when mapping. The OE ECU case is retained and houses an igniter for the coil and a 3 bar map sensor. The loom does away with the stupid air flow meter and comes supplied with a base map for running Saab red injectors and a normal KKK turbo. ECU is self learning and easy to adjust via lap top, can also support extra features like 8 injectors and anti-lag at no extra cost. £750

Body kit – OE Vauxhall GSI bodykit. Front bumper has had the number plate recess removed and a splitter fitted to the bottom. Rear bumper and side skirts are stock. Because of storage issues, some light scratches are obvious but not devastating. The front bottom lip of the splitter has caught before and taken some paint off. Towing eye covers are present. Front grille has had the Vauxhall badge removed and smoothed over, some hair line cracks appearing on the bottom but not really visable. Bonnet is fine outside, some early rust signs on the underside front lip but again not serious.
    £150 for the Front bumper
    £75 for the Rear bumper
£100 for the Side skirts (pair)
    £100 for the Grille
    £100 for the Bonnet
    £450 for everything

Turbo - Rebuilt and totally overhauled KKK16 turbo charger. Had everything NEW except the housings which were fine. No cracks or damage. Also come supplied with a -31 Actuator which again is brand new and presently set at 1bar boost. £400

Wheels – 8x18” Compomotive MO’s with Yokohama Parada tyres (235/35/18). Usual Vauxhall 4 stud fitment with the right offset for the width machined off them so they sit perfectly under Mk3 wheel arches. These are mint and the tyres are brand new, I paid top money for them a while ago and I’ve never seen another Astra with them on. £800

Suspension – Adjustable damping rate Koni suspension kit -35mm springs. Again, done practically no miles and comes with all brand new OE Vauxhall top mounts which I changed when fitting the inserts. Can negotiate a price for the whole shock / hub set up at the front which had new wheel bearings pressed in also. £250

Brakes – 308mm Vectra discs and callipers. Pagid fast road pads (awesome pads, run them on other cars with impressive results) and discs re profiled to a 6 slot design which is pretty much the best trade off ive found between performance on the road and on the track, also re-drilled to 4 stud. Rear brakes are as OE Vauxhall with the same pattern on the discs as on the front.
£250 for the front discs, pads and callipers
    £75 for the rear discs
£125 for the rear discs, pads and callipers
£175 for the whole rear beam (includes power flex rear beam bushes)
£375 for the front set up and whole rear beam.

Seats - Sparco adjustable Torino 2 seats in black and grey (the grey matches the roof lining of a GSi surprisingly well) with slide rails and Sparco multi point black harnesses. Cost me around £350 each plus the rails and the harnesses. £550 for the lot.

That’s the big stuff for now. I will be adding to this every now and again as there is heaps more to come. Silicon hoses, carbon fibre covers, chrome covers, charge coolers, battery boxes for the boot, head lamps its an almost endless list. Anyone who knows me, please feel free to ring me about stuff.

One or two minor pieces sold off already, how much you offering? Probably best if you come down and have a look yourself personally.
