Exclamation Time for a clear out! – ICE

Well as the cav is now finished all those spares, and bits never used from changes of plans etc etc could do with clearing out.

Have a good look through it all as there is rare stuff, performance parts, gadgets, well sort after bits, ICE, and all of it cheap!

Also have a look at my other For Sale threads as I’ve split them into the following to make it easier for people:

Time for a clear out! – Car Parts
Time for a clear out! – Performance Parts
Time for a clear out! – Pretty Parts
Time for a clear out! – Bit N Bobs
Time for a clear out! – ICE

So here we go…..

All parts to be collected from Haywards Heath (near Gatwick airport), or Guildford (during working hours), or some can be posted (at extra cost):

ICE

My original plan for the cav was to finish it off with a monster high end, high quality ICE install. However having driven the car and used it in anger I now longer want to add weight to it, and instead enjoy the lovely sound then engine makes.

As with all bits on my car I took a no expense, no effort spared approached to the ICE I wanted, therefore all my hard work and money will be a bargain to you guys. Lmao

# Amps:

The Ryval series were commissioned by BBG and built by Phoenix Gold and when reviewed in the audio press, they received an excellent response. Sound quality on these amps is superb. Also they look fantastic – in a high quality way - with the internals viewable through the plexi glass window, and the laser etched ‘BBG’ logo being illuminated blue when the amp is on.

I’ve got a set of 2 of these amps with the idea they’d run an excellent ICE set up.

A4.75
Into 4 ohms stereo @ 14.4Vdc: 150w (RMS) x 4
Into 2 ohms stereo @ 14.4Vdc: 240w (RMS) x 4
Into 4 ohms Bridges @ 14.4Vdc: 480w (RMS) x 2
Fuse Size: 30A x 2 ATO Style

A2.50
Into 4 ohms stereo @ 14.4Vdc: 100w (RMS) x 2
Into 2 ohms stereo @ 14.4Vdc: 160w (RMS) x 2
Into 4 ohms Bridges @ 14.4Vdc: 320w (RMS) x 1
Fuse Size: 20A x 1 ATO Style

The 4 channel model has Aux RAC’s pass through to daisy chain amps.

Both have high and low pass cross overs etc so you can set up whatever speakers you are connecting too.

Absolutely top amps that look fantastic and TBH I’m pretty gutted to sell them but I know I’ll now never use them. 

As you can see you could use the A4.75 to run some big subs, and the other to run the rears or fronts.

Both in very good condition but the only thing to point is that the A4.75 has a power fault. My local independent car stereo place has quoted £30 to fix so not a big issue.

Prices:
A4.75 (power fault one): £ 20.00
A2.50: £ 30.00

# Kenwood Active Cross Over : KEC-600

As I wanted to properly set up my system I bought this beauty – and I surely is one too!

It ‘s the flagship kenwood active crossover and allows you to set up a full system – however/whatever you have, to sounds the absolute best in your car.

The spiel is as follows:

One of the most advanced signal processors is the KEC-600 6-Way Electronic Crossover with built-in parametric EQ and a DC-to-DC power supply for high voltage outputs and low noise. With input selection (Low 1, 2, Front, Rear, and Aux), phase switching, variable level controls and the following outputs: subwoofer, low-pass, low-cut, high-cut, (or through), and high-pass. The EQ is selectable between subwoofer and mid-bass from 30 to 300 Hz at + or 10 dB. A great component for multi-amp installations.

Very good condition and all working. A real bargain at £45

# Now for some connectors to join this lot together:

I had these imported from the States as they make far better stuff than we can get over here, and for realistic money (although still cost a fortune!).
So this is what I’ve got:
Made by Tsunami who are a good make, with good quality products that aren’t overly chav but still have a ‘nice’ factor:

Some of the above is sold – all that’s left is as stated below

# 2 x Grounding Terminals. 4 Gauge.
Tsunami again. Got 2 of these. They have a protective cover and look luuuurvely.
£10 the pair.

Now you need to connect wires to everything (got wiring too – see further down):

Again these are all Tsunami products:

# 10-12 Gauge spade connectors (I was going to use these for power wires to the amps etc):
Gold terminals with coloured rubber boots. These come in a pack of 5 – 3 x red and 2 x black.
Got 5 packs of these.
£3 per pack.

# 8 Gauge spade connectors (was going to use these to connect the speaker wires to amps).
Gold terminals with rubber coloured boots. These come in a pack of 5 – 3 x red and 2 x black.
Got 3 packs of these.
£3 per pack.

Now for some wiring:
Got a load of Autoleads translucent blue and silver wiring. Various lengths. Never used. 4 Gauge and 8 Gauge (and a bit of 2). This is ideal to run from the distribution blocks to amps, and grounds etc. Was going to use the blue for positive and silver for ground.

What I’ve got and prices are as follows:

Translucent Blue:
2 Gauge = 205cm
4 Gauge = 455 cm
4 Gauge = 55 cm
4 Gauge = 80 cm
8 Gauge = 500 cm
8 Gauge = 375 cm
8 Gauge = 70 cm

Translucent Silver:
4 Gauge = 455 cm
4 Gauge = 70 cm
4 Gauge = 55 cm
4 Gauge = 35 cm
8 Gauge = 435 cm
8 Gauge = 135 cm
8 Gauge = 80 cm
8 Gauge = 50 cm
8 Gauge = 40 cm

Can’t price this too easily so best bet is to tell me what you want and I’ll give you a price. It’ll be a fraction of what it costs new though.

Subs

Keeping my mids and tweeters in the car at the moment, but going to sell my never used, indeed never out the box, Pioneer subs.

# 2 x Ts-W304C
600watts max, 300 watts RMS.
These are 300mm wide. Look great and sound great according to those that have run them.
£50 of the pair (bargain).

Kenwood CD Changer

Kenwood 6 CD Changer complete with mounting brackets and the long cable to connect to your kenwood head unit.
Model number is KDC-C467.
Plays CD/RW’s, supports disc name preset etc.
£20.

Re: Time for a clear out! – ICE

This actually cost quite a bit. And is also heavy. Also it's brand new.

So er... say £13 posted with insurance and stuff (£10 plus a bit for postage).

Want it?

If so I'll give you my paypal address.

Re: Time for a clear out! – ICE

crayon - it sits in protection mode.

Apprently it is a simple capacity (or something) in the power system that needs replacing.
They guy said to me it's a few pence part and about 30 mins to hour work so £30.
But I won't get it done as tbh I'm not looking to spend out - I'm looking to get money in!
But that's why it's only a few beer tokens - bargain for a Phoenix Gold amp!!
