is it just a case of swapping the shafts over Lee?

Does the lift up reverse work OK?

is it a standard knob from a vaux of some sort?

All this talk of shafts and knobs and no smutty remarks!

Can you not just swap the whole shaft, Steve?

Lee, any chance of a close up of the ball where it sits in the collar for the linkage?

    Cheers Lee, you're a star.

Wonder when they started using the rubber inserts... mine doesn't have any, it's just a ball, and it rattles around like a crazy thing.

My old gearstick was a ball, and I've got a Vectra one in there now that's a plain ball too.

    It's piss easy.

Lift up the gaiter, there's a little pin that goes through that hole and clips around the stick. Flick that off with a screwdriver and pull it out, then the whole gearstick will just lift out.
