    The god damn Twinport thread

I just bought my first vauxhall. Its a late 2003 1.6 SXI Twinport.

Its giving me faultcode P1113. port deactivation switch low voltage. Theres a position sensor on one side of the inlet manifold and a actuator with built in solenoid on the other side. Vacumm closes the ports and they only open under hardish acceleration.

Does anyone have tech2 or something half local to Midulster so I can view live data. I attached a LED to the solenoid and its not always getting the power it should when it should be. It may be the case that the position sensor is actually broke as the faultcode suggests but its very hard to get at and I want to rule out voltage drop, ecu fault or wiring woes first. Shouldnt take more than halfhour and theres beertokens in it.
