    MK4 Astra Steering Audio Controls

    Can anyone help !!!!

I fancy putting a Kenwood Head Unit in my MK4 Astra. Some people say that you can buy an adapter from Kenwood that will display the Radio info on the dash display, and let you use the original audio controls on the steering wheel. Others say that adapters are only available for Sony Head Units.

Can anyone clear this up for me, I'm confused.

I've been told that the KPA-SD100 is what I need and will cost £79.99.

    Cheers.

im 99% sure that it is kenwood, before i even saw the price you said i was sure it was £80 aswell.

from what i understand this allows you to use the centre console display in conjunction with the radio as you stated.

    Cheers for that Andy.

I've had a look, but it seems that the adapters they sell are for Sony. Looks like I'm out of luck.
