    pioneer dual cone

i have a kenny mp6090r and have replaced the standard front speakers with a
pair of pioneer dual cones. they werent the most expensive speakers, but i
just wanted to see if the sound quality was better. it is but when i crank
up the volume the sound is shite. does neone have any recommendations on
what would achieve the best sound??? i am not looking for blistering bass,
but a one that is recognisable. i dont mind replacing the pioneers either
they were only £30. any help would be great

the only way to sort your problem is to buy some decent speakers your cheapskate dual cones suck.

The duel cone thing was a cheap alternative to get 'tweeter' frequency without using separate tweeters - unfortunatly, yeah, that means they're cheap.

Have a look at boschman - they do 6.5" ones that have reasonable magnet size! Cheap too.

    boschman

yeah they're cheap and shite like all boschman stuff save some money and invest in some half decent 6X9's pioneers, kenwoods or maybe JBL the alu conned ones not the cheap black ones.

    Wink Ground zero

i have instead of buying shitty kenwood 6x9's or pioneer shite. bought some ground zero 5" for the front door running from a jackson 4 channel amp and have a kenny sub also runnin in the rear. sounds mint, the gz speakers were £95, not many people have heard of them but i would recommend them to anyone.
