    Whinig through speakers

    Just recently a wninig is coming throug my spaekers as the engine is running. I have had The same stereo setup since i have had the car and it has only startd today for no apparent reason, i have not done anything to the car either, what could it be????

    It may be a bad earth. Also, can be due to wire crossing over or bad quality wires.
    Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?

    Mike is right, make sure you have a good earth to the head unit. If it persists you can get an interference suppressor from Halford's pr alike, this should tone it down a bit. Someone told me a while ago though, if it goes for too long without a decent earth it burns a track out on the circuit board where it is looking for a better earth, and so then seeks through the amp giving you interference? Not too sure about how true this is, perhaps someone else can explain better

    As per above.

    check all your ground connections. (earth) right down the the tightness of your earth terminal on your battery, and the strap to the car body.

    also check your connections to your head unit/amp etc.

    Another posibility is if the interfearance supressor on your alternator has had it. (you can buy these from halford too.)
