    Talking Alpine????

Following on from my last post about what system...

My Clarion went wrong so I got it replaced with an Alpine.

I have to say that although im at work its so quiet that ive just done a setup session and me ears are still ringing,

    That headunit ROCKS!!

The sound is so far superior to that of the Clarion.
If anyone is thinkin of a new head then I recomend in the strongest sense that you go for Alpine.
For the first time im actually glad something went wrong with a stereo.

I was stood 10 feet from the car with the volume on about 22 and I could clearly hear the words, the backing and the bass....
    SWEET AS!

    Oh Yes im chuffed alright:lol:

Heyyyyyy, Alpine RULES! I've had one for almost as long as I've owned a car. I currently have a 7969 Top of the range unit. It were a bit bloody expensive but it sounds like nothing I've heard before! It doesn't even have an amp in it, which makes sense if you are fitting external amps anyway. I can't recommend the make enough. Go buy it now.
(No I'm not on a commission from them.)

    Chameleon.

Got to agree with ya Mavv. I got the commander head unit and 6 disc changer with motorised panel, its a well nice sound. Decided to give on a go after I bought a pair of alpine component speakers for the old cav. what can I say... I now have Alpine headunit, disc changer, 6x9s and 6.5" components in the front.
By the way these 6.5" ones cost, but the quality is tops, the magnet on the back is huge!!
