The stereo in my calibra was ripped out before i bought it. Now all im left with are a bunch of colored cables!
Does anyone know what every cable does?
eg cable color and function?
I know this question is a pain in the arse but any help would be apprciated!
Thank you very much.

if you buy a new aftermarket stereo it should come with a listing of all the wire and colours.
Are you telling me the previous owner took the ISO connecting block as well??? Thats fecking rude as that comes with the car.
Unless when he put the stereo in he couldnt be arsed to spend a £10 on a converter and so chopped of the ISO connector and attached the wires by bullet connectors. Bloody hack merchants.

Thats gonna be a bit of a mission. Can you pull the loom out slightly to unwrap it a bit and free up some more length on the wires??

Ive managed to get a bit out. just enough to extend them with a soldering iorn.
But the thing is I have no idea what the cables do.
I think i'll have to put my HNC in electrical eng to some good use!
Just wondering if anyone knew off hand?
Do they do a haynes manual for the cally?

Sounds to me like the radio was nicked and the PO has been a little economical with the truth...
