    Cat 1 or Cat 2?

Considering increasing security on a couple of my cars that don't have Cat 1 already (the Cally Turbos have to before I can get insurance).

I will self install as I don't need the cert and not sure whether to go for a Toad Cat 2 immobiliser £34 or a Cat 2 Immob/alarm £90.

    Any comments?

I had an AI606 installed & no problems so far.
I'd strongly suggest that you get a pro to install it & issue you the installation certificate. £275 all-in with remote central locking as an added feature.

Thanks guys, I have gone for a Sterling One (the current name for the AI606 as Toad got taken over) Cat 1 in the car with no alarm fitted and their Cat 2 in the other two already fitted with alarms. Am doing it myself as the cars are on Classic policies with low premiums so the 'Certificate' discount would not be much.

Also adding a DIY third circuit cut-out and a Disklok on the most valuable.

Sterling was Toad's entry range and has always been a Toad product
it is similar to the Ai606 but without plug in ports and less aux outputs
Sterling One and Toad AI606 are both current products under the Flagship of Scorpion

Thanks for the correction Ian. The One seems to do all I need.
