zaf gsi dvd 1848 remedy?

Evenin all.

Has anyone heard of this?
My bus battery goes flat after between 1 and 2 days stationary
A few searches and I believe its a fault with the standard dvd player.
(I've unplugged it and I think the battery is retaining its charge)
The only fix I have found is take it to vauxhall and ask for the remedy 1848.
Anymore info would be great.
