Electric aerial (Non-Vaux)

Peugeot 306 cabriolet.
It's a 3 wire type, earth, +12v and a switched +12V when head unit is turned on. It is also OE.

Fitted a new mast as the other was seized, dont know how long it was like that but may have added to the issue, that it now works backwards lmao

You turn the radio on and it goes down! and when you switch the ignition off it goes up! Very very confused
Now i know this isn't a vaux but has anyone come across this before?

swap the nuetrell and 12v over (switched)
