30 amp for a sterio :O is it ment to be that ?

Please ensure all events queries are pm'd in my direction. Please be patient and i will get back to you very soon.
30amp!! lol.
Does it happen when you rev the car up or literally when you drive fast? If revs it's possibly the voltage regulator in the alternator. Try and get a multimeter on the live to ground and check the volts.

if it sounds right to you, then its right.
More than that lol all te wires behind the cd player which would spread in to the engine
The thing I don't get there was already a 30amp in there and it's only happened since I took the fan belt off... I pit the earth back on, the only other thing I can think of is I have had to do alot of rewiring in the main loom would it be to do with that?
"It's not about what you can BUY, It's about what you can BUILD!"
It could be that lol I guess one Of the terminals are earthing out matey
Don't you think this post should have been included a little earlier, like in post 1...
In 95% of electrical issues its down to some person making alterations or rewiring items that they simply don't follow nor understand... Its time for you to call in an auto electrician mate....
if it sounds right to you, then its right.
The reason I had to rewire some things was cause the wiring to the knock sensor wasn't connected to anything the wires had been cut so all I done was solder them back together I have a new loom comin soon anyway that might cure it

haha 30 amp fook me. good slide show mate lol
Its deffo a crossed wire as most vauxhalls have a system that turns the radio up as you drive the car above 60mph. You are deffo looking at burning your car out if your running such a high rate fuse.
