Differing cdr500s?

Ive just found out i can fit a cdr500 to my corsa and change the display settings so everything will work and look factory etc, but while browsing ebay it seems theres a few differing makes of them, siemens, blaupunkt etc. Does anyone know if one makes better/more reliable than another?

Delco ones suck i know that much, sounds nothing like my dads one. I think his is the philips one.

dads is a VDO with the digital button sound control rather than the turn knobs.

Cheers for replying. Funnily enough while down the breakers today asfter some bits i saw a cdr on the guys desk, offered him £20 for it. Is the turn knob model, but loads better than the cassette player that was in there. Looks nice & standard in the dash so im happy

My 2001 Vec B SRi is fitted with the Delco version and works 100% In fact it gives better radio reception than many JVC or Kenwood units I have had fitted to other vauxhalls!
