help with amp problem

i have just installed some component speakers
the problem im having is when the headunit is on tuner the amp is on but when i change it to cd the amp wont work and the power light goes out.

anyone any idea's

Sounds like you have connected your amps remote to the Head Units electric aerial feed... Sony units retract the aerials when you switch sources from radio to cd/aux etc...

Check Head Units wiring for relevant colour coding, Amp Remote will be either Blue or Blue with white trace...
