Ipod to Factory Headunit? possible?

Currently have a CD30 headunit in the vectra C and i want to keep a standard looking unit to then plug the ipod in. Is this possible in any way shape or form? is there a unit from another car i can use or am i barking up the wrong tree?

the only thing i can think of is to get the attachment that plugs into the cigarrette lighter that you plug your ipod into and converts it to a radio signal...
