astra j/mk6 with cd400 - installing ipod/usb connection?

im wondering about buying a astra j / mk6 with cd400 and no ipod/usb connection. opel in norway says gm has on instructions on wether you can install this afterwards. anybody knows if this is possible ? shouldnt it be an easy job installing and maybe some tech2 work?
