    Which alarm is best for my budget?

    Ive only got a small budget ( i know most my budget should go on this) but i wanted to get a thatcham cat 1 alarm.. These are ones ive seen but i dont know much about these alarms.. which would you recomend?

    My advice would be for you to speak to some installers in your area and see what they supply and fit. Ultimately it's down to what features you want on it, but it'll be next to useless for insurance purposes if you DIY it.

    Dito that, I fitted an alarm which if installed by a 'professional' was CAT 1, but insurance didn't want to know.

    hi i would go for toad ai606 been fitting these for over 10 years and touch wood never had 1 back, very reliable but i also do the directed stuff clifford ,viper and hornet they all do the same job but i prefer the toad
