the standard systems are pretty good (sure some, if not all on gsi are cat1) but unless its in a titanium bubble, in a 6ft thick garage patrolled by ninja dwarfs the theiving scum will take it if they want it .......cos there cu**s

Physical security all the way fella. A retractable pillar in your drive is one of the best value for money things you can ever buy

    Thanks for that!

Just to be safe, ive hired a local 5-team swat unit, who are going to sit in it all night. Should be good now.
I also plan to ring the police up every few hours during the nights (ive set me moby alarms), making out i can see people walking about with tools...just to keep a good police presence going in the area.

they have deadlocks immob and power sounder that runs of its own batteries so even if battery is disconected without keys in the ignition it would wake up the street

Passive security on Vauxhalls in general is very good. However, if they are able to tow it away without getting caught, then the security is useless as it can be bypassed/circumvented with more ease than you probably know.

Always park the car with the front wheels turned, makes it more difficult for it to be put on a spec lift, and get something like a Disclock if you're really that worried abou it going.

Disclock+deadlocks+alarm+ecu/chip/transponder= not likely to be pinched in a hurry

    Cat 1 Deadlocks Chipped key
If they get your keys they got your car
    Towing is a big issue
i would add a tilt sensor to it protects towing and wheels

    Cheers guys.

I will look into a tilt sensor.
Was going to look into a new alarm...but ill read up on its standard alarm first, see if there is any point.
Was also going to get a '4tress' steering lock...just as another visual deterrent (£30).

    Thanks for all your help!
