Where to earth the Headunit in a vectra.

Iv recently got a Vectra B Sri that didnt come with a HU so im putting my Sony one on, I first simply pluged it in and it work, got very hot very quickly and i remembered that i had pinned a wire to the back of it in my GTi, however i cannot find a loose wire so i am wondering how i can do it.

There's already an earth in the loom, else it wouldn't work.
Running hot is normal (define 'hot' though).
If you're really keen, attach a wire and run to the back of the cig lighter or a fixed earth point.
