    vauxhall cd 30 and mk3 gsi mfd?

    as title really, does anyone if the the cd30 head unit is compatible with an astra ggsi mk3 mfd display?

    Nope, this will not be compatible, as the CD30 is a Full CAN (Canbus) unit, and so requires a full CAN display.

    An Astra Mk3 display is Non-CAN

    You could fit a CD30 from a Corsa-C or D, as long as you also use the matching display.

    The CD30 and Display would need to be paired to each other (not necesarily the car)

    To run the radio functions, you may also need a Body Control Module, to provide ignition logic and lighting controls.

    I have done this to my Cavalier Mk3 (1994 LSi), where I fitted a matched CD70 and Graphic Info Display from a Vectra-C. (This also required 3 further modules to work properly - CID, BCM and lighting switch)
