iPod Connectivity Problem

Hi all,

Has anyone who uses an iPod Touch in their car noticed any problems since the 4.0 update came out? When I start my car, the headunit and iPod switch on, but the music plays out of the iPod rather than the speakers. I have to unplug it, wait a second and then re-connect before it will work properly. This is now getting annoying!! Any help would be appreciated. I can provide a full list of equipment I am using if there are any experts willing to help in detail

yeh mine doesnt charge either but an ipod nano does....very annoying
