    steering wheel controls

    is there any way you can make the stereo controls on the steering wheel work with a non standard stereo?

    That would probably depend on your make of car and stereo , as you dont mention either its kinda hard to give you an answer.

    There are numerous manufacturers that offer interfaces for lots of different vehicles and aftermarket headunits, and some of the headunit manufacturers produce their own as well. Have a look at Autoleads and Connects2 for an idea of what you're looking for, and if you haven't purchased one already when shopping for a headunit have a look what interfaces are available.

    As per DigDave's reply, I have used the Connects2 on my Sony head unit and the Autoleads one on my Alpine head unit, both work a treat

    its a Wharfedale Head-unit i have, that ill be fitting to a mk4 astra when i get one lol. yeah, ill have a look on Autoleads and Connects2 for what im after. thanks guys
