stereo locked

i seemed to have locked my stereo even though i have only used 3 out of my 10 attempts it just says 7 safe it is a vectra gsi can anybody help me?????

7 is the countdown. It locks up for increasing amounts of time.
In order to enter the code again, the stereo and igntion have to be on for a set period of time.
Is the code correct ?

i was typing the wrong 1 in but i think ive found the right 1 now how long do i need the ignition on 4?
