    vibe amp playing the exhaust when car started

    hi all i have a vibe black box amp running my 6x9's. its started playing the exhaust through the speakers any ideas of what it could be ? cheers

    One of your power cables is too close to the RCA's leading to the amp

    never happens on recent amps, only on shonky old amps

    check the earth 1st, need to have shiney metal to make good contact, not on a seat bolt! also check the rca posts on the amp and headunit dont move, could be broken earth track on circuit board.
