    Vectra B iPod Headunit?

    Hi,

I've just bought myself a 2001 Vectra B, and would like to change the standard headunit for an aftermarket one with iPod compatibility.

Problem is, I'm not particuarly familiar with the Vectra dash, and I can't currently see any gaps that I can feed a wire out of, possibly into the glovebox or ashtray?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Greg

I have my iPod wire go down behind the ashtray, down the side of the gear linkage and the iPod itself sits underneath the coil tray where the diagnostic port is.

I have an alpine unit and my ipod lives in the glovebox.

Yeah glovebox for me, not ipod but usb cable. Most of the vectra dash is easy enough to work around. Once the glovebox is out (4 screws) then you have loads of room when your fitting a stereo to run wires.

Thanks everyone, I've got a better idea of locations to look into now.
