Wot size are the speakers in a mk3 astra door? I need to know if i should put my speakers from my old car into my future astra 3. Cheers, Dan.

If you ain't changed your door speakers...all i gotta say is...'you ain't heard nothing yet'!

Chaged the components in my door and there's a big difference. But it may have something to do with the fact that i fitted a tweeter and a woofer rather than a tweeter and a mid range

Go on do it..you won't go back!!

I used Alpine components in the front door of mine. I cant remember the model number but they were for sale in Halfords for £100. The woofer was a 5" which I fitted by chopping the cone out of the original bracket and making an MDF spacer which fitted inside the original bracket to mount the speaker on. I cut a hole where the std tweeter was mounted next to the mirror adjuster and fitted the Alpine tweeter sticking through the panel at an angle, facing up and rearwards towards the area between the front seats. Sounds nice.
