    I think i've messed up my AutoWatch alarm....HELP !

My Calibra has a combined AutoWatch alarm/immobilizer.

In my stupidity i wanted shot of the alarm & wanted to retain the remote locking/immobilizer functions only so i 'inspected' the wire to the siren & found three, red, white & black.

I cut the white, which sent everything into meltdown, lol. The alarm wouldn't turn off, even when i disconnected the battery (i now know it has it's own battery within the siren unit), in my panic (it was late'ish & i live in a culdisac) i cut the red & black then disconnected the battery but the alarm wouldn't stop ! Eventually it did but now the car won't start & the alarm keeps going off whether it's locked or not.

I've now removed the siren from the car & have just locked it & left it, lol.

Is there a way in which i can either get the thing working minus the siren or at least get me back to where i started before i interferred ??

There maybe some sort of dealer reset required. At the end of the day, the alarm is design to foil anyone steeling the car, and you just went and chopped of the siren - so at the end of the day, the system has done it's job and done it well. I'd try calling an Autowatch dealer in the morning and see what they say.

If anyone knows the correct way around it - please do not post it on here, as Jamie says, please PM the info directly to Dan. Thanks.
Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?
