I got some component speakers the other day with cross-overs, these to be more specific VIBE BLACK AIR 6.5" Component Speaker Systems 16.5cm V1 on eBay (end time 27-Apr-10 20:23:21 BST). But have been having trouble getting the cross-overs to work, I have checked the manual and the wiring is all correct and is pretty idiot proof anyway. But still couldn't get any sound from the speakers when using the cross-overs.

The speakers work fine by themselves though, so I tried the cross-overs with the speakers on the house amplifier seperate, but still nothing from the speakers. Although oddly I could hear the music from the cross-over itself albeit muffled etc, but that was only when the amp was turned right up.

So would the conclusion be that the cross-overs are faulty? Or is there something else?
