astra mk 4 - jvc headunit

just fitted a jvc headunit in my mk 4 and as it should do a part of the cars display went blank, who can tell me what wires to cut so i get it displaying the date all the time rather than it going blank when i turn the jvc unit on. its not the standard display, its the trip comp one! someone did say the red/white wire but cant see that one, i can see a seperate red and a seperate white though ! Anyone? ta!

Was it over on AOC that someone told you it was a red/white Thats what the colour was on mine with trip computer
