    alpine cva 1000r

    how the **** do you remove one of these???

    quick answer wanted before i attempt it with a drill

    Any luck with this yet m8! I think if u remove the plastic surround then each side there is like a little screw/rivet put little flatscrew driver and eith lift or push it down (it only goes 1 way) and pull that side of the alpine player slightly out then do same to the other side.

    doesnt budge i tried using sony keys as from the look if it, the cage is the same...i think im going to have to remove the whole centre console to remove it

    im just waiting for the kids to disperse then im going back with a drill

    get 2 flat screw drivers slide 1 in each side (inbetween cage and unit) try to pry it out shouldgo if u get 1 side the othe should just follow suit bud.

    tried the screw driver method...no go, just broke the surrounding trim...if i put any more force then i will end up breaking my centre console

    local audio ****ters want 45 quid just to remove it

    My Alpine has 2 little clips either side you need to pop out the little tags on the cage.

    I'll take a picture after dinner if you want .

    The clips are behind the surround, the wee round fellas, I'm no taking it off cause it can be a bastard to get back on lmao
