New car, Trip computer?

Hi, I've just brought a new car, an astra coupe 2.2 Bertone 51 Plate -

I've been looking through the manual to find out if its got an onboard read out of fuel consumption, range, ect ect. Would the controls be on the windscreen wiper stalk if it had? (no controls there).

It also has an after market head-unit, would this effect what can be displayed (clock, temperature, ect ect?)

The controls would be on the wiper stalk and if you have a trip computer you would be showing one of the items, fuel range etc

You'll probably find your car doesn't have it
