Recommend a decent low budget alarm please

Dont't know a lot about alarms but I'm after a Cat1 alarm for my Nova to be used for Road Rallying. I want decent theft protection as the car is parked on a driveway and I had my old Nova stolen from there.

The doors have normal locks so i don't want any immobiliser or anything too fancy, just optimum protection from it being broken into or stolen, as it will contain a few quids worth of parts.

I don't want to spend more than i need to, but obviously enough to provide the car and contents with adequate protection

    Thanks in advance

they do do insurance approved but non with remote start are thatcham.
if you want it to be a cat 1 you need to get a certified installer to fit it and stamp the paper work tho.

the top two yes for the thacham but the bottom one no, and there instructions are very clear and easy to follow, should only take an hour or 2 to do a nich install of it.
