if i disconnect the battery will this make the alarm go off?
if i disconnect the battery will this make the alarm go off?
NO
not if the alarm is unarmed which it would be for you to open the bonnet
k thanks
Some Vauxhalls will sound the Alarm with the battery disconnected
For the love of God, please read the rules
If there is a battery within the alarm then Yes it will go off.
but not if you disarm it! FACT
thanks
As Dave said, some do have a back up to stop people being able to disconnect the battery to help steal the car. I found this when i was at the bodyshop... I was very very loud.
You had to turn the alarm off with a key on the box, was hidden under a bung.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
Some have current detection if the battery is removed, as it drops the internal battery in the alarm (if it has one) will trigger.

I suppose the easy way to find out is to try it....50/50 chance.
Unless your trying to nick a battery...lmaolmao

Simple answer, is it a Corsa b? If they i don't think they have them as std. If its a Clifford no it wont as long as its disalarmed.
