Corsa B Radio wiring...

Hi,

new to the forum and looknig for some help.

The missus just bought an R reg Corsa breeze, but the original owner had tried to 'mod' the car and has butchered the radio wiring.

Therefore Im trying to install and new 'modern' ISO plug from halford but im having a problem sorting what wire goes where.

found live and front speakers, there are wires that look according to haynes manual from rear speakers tho none are present so assuming in loom.

but the car also has a 3 part info display that shows temp, radio station and time and this connects to the radio as well.

As i do not have the original stereo or any reference as to aht wire goes where into a standard iso plug

can anyone help.

does anyone have a phot of an original corsa iso plug to get reference, im struggling with the haynes and pin numbers so any help appreciated.

ok, i have 3 wires left, from the multi display, according to haynes to pins 17 18 and 22 they are coloured brown/black, brown/red and brown/gray.

also 2 blue/red, looking at haynes looks like its the multi display light but I cannot get it to light...:-(

anyone know where these can go, the multi display works but is not illuminated so im assuming one of these wires (or 2 if earth) light up the display.

any ideas

Blue/red is usually a speed pulse wire for the factory stereo to get louder as you go faster

Display will only come on with the ignition now

at least im not beating it to death.

as everything works now ill seal up the loose wires and close her up...
