    Fuzzy Radio

    Guys,

Got an Astra 2.0 Turbo 2003. JVC Head unit. Obviously this isn't standard and therefore there are a couple of things wrong with it:

    1. When in radio mode there is no reception, just fuzz.
    2. My steering wheel controls do not work, i assumebecause the head unit has been changed
    3. The 4 disc CD changer in the glove doesn't work either.

Should I just take it into a specialist? I'm in Catford SE London, any where good to go?

Does the date go out on the top display when the stereo's on? if not it may be wired wrong. There's the chance the aerial leads poped off the back or maybe a faulty aerial base as they have a amplifier built into them

Unless your stereo has the option to add steering wheel controls and you have the adaptor they aren't going to work and the cd changer in the glovebox never will because there's no way to link the 2
